Synopsis: The woman who changed the ‘look' of the entire century. The fascinating, elegant, unreachable Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel was a girl from humble origins that sought liberation through her work.
Her success was due to her talent and undying determination. She changed the image and role of women forever. But her only real desire was just to be loved.
Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel was born at the end of the 1800s and died in 1971, year in which she played a leading role in all she did. Chanel succeeded in responding to society's latent needs of creating a new vision of the women. Her fashions produced a revolution. She liberated women from corsets and petticoats , creating more practical clothing that accentuates femininity and elegance all the same. Clothes suitable for the new role of the woman, who is no longer a “husband's doll”, but a socially active individual.
