Good Morning, Mom!

Good Morning, Mom! 2

Synopsis

Like when the light slowly reappears as you come out of a long tunnel, Anna Della Rosa’s eyes gradually reopen to life. Along with hers, those of Sole and Federico’s little Nina also encounter the world. And so begins the second season of Good Morning Mom!

However, Anna’s reentry into the world will prove to be far from smooth. She will have to struggle with the past, balance the vague and troubling memories that assault her mind with the present, with her children’s challenges as they search for their identities and the loves of their lives. She will also clash with a husband who is no longer used to consulting her about their children’s upbringing and who has difficulty containing his own dormant memories, now disturbingly recurring.

The unexpected and sudden return of Deputy Chief Colaprico, motivated by the discovery of a key hidden in a doll that belonged to Maurizia, will once again give rise to grave unresolved questions: What happened on the day Anna fell into a coma? Did someone attack her? If so, who? And what about Maurizia? Is she still alive?

The person most driven to find the truth is Guido, who, faced with another impending threat to his family – following the revelation that Maurizia was alive on the day of Anna’s coma – will do whatever it takes to save it.

The discovery of Maurizia’s body at the bottom of the lake Villa Della Rosa overlooks, however, will cast fresh suspicion on him. Especially when it turns out that at the time she was killed, Maurizia was expecting a child, whose DNA matches his. Guido becomes the number one suspect for Maurizia’s murder.

True to form, however, Guido does not lose heart. He makes his way to Piedmont, where Maurizia lived for several years while on the run, revealing shady drug deals in which, besides Maurizia, Guido’s own father Elio was also involved. And Elio turns out to be the father of the baby she was carrying.

When at last, with the help of Colaprico, the culprit for Anna’s coma and Maurizia’s murder is identified, Guido will have to come to terms with his desire for revenge. A race against time will end in a violent fight, and Guido, at the last second, will keep Anna from being murdered.

The Borghi family will again be able to smile. Sole will be its inspiration, as she finds in Greg the love she did not receive from Federico, who moved to the United States; Jacopo, too, who after a thousand troubles and also thanks to the support of Lea, his new girlfriend, finds his way, working as a therapist in the hospital; and Francesca, who transforms an arranged marriage to an Indian, Karim – just to get him a residence permit – into a beautiful affair of the heart.

Almost as beautiful as the love between Anna and Guido, who embrace in happiness as they gaze at their children.
