SEASON 1
SYNOPSIS
Terence Hill is Pietro, the forest ranger, in our latest TV success One Step From Heaven (12X50′, 23% average share prime time, RAI UNO), a detective-comedy set in the wonderful mountains of Alto Adige.
Pietro hides a terrible secret from his past. An expert climber, he was the powerless witness of his wife’s fatal fall while they were both climbing a difficult wall.
His life has never been the same again and he decided to retire to the mountain village of San Candido, hoping to find both peace and his old self.
He has become the only local authority and everybody looks to him as their “police corps” often involved in strange cases. But one day Vincenzo, the “real” chief of police arrives at San Candido from Naples.
Vincenzo and Pietro are like day and night, one comes from a big city and does not like it here; the other dislikes the frantic rhythms of big cities, and loves it here. Eventually Vincenzo will become very fond of his new residence; Silvia, the village’s veterinarian, his new and unexpected love, might have helped a little.
This is a story that combines the epic characters of the Western genre and a fairytale world.
Detection and comedy, drama, love, friendship, secrets from the past and a confrontation between nature, animals and men are combined in rich appealing stories.

SEASON 2
SYNOPSIS
Terence Hill accompanies us once again on this new adventure in the role of Pietro. Our hero has made this place his mission, to defend life and nature. Our Chief forest Ranger must attempt to resolve even newer, mysterious cases, helping out our Neapolitan police chief who, despite the all the time now spent in the mountains since his transfer, certainly cannot be considered an expert mountaineer.
After having overcome the trauma of his wife’s death, Pietro meets someone in the first episode, an encounter that will mark his destiny in this new season. While riding his horse through the woods, he comes across the dying body of a young woman, Anya, who seems to remember nothing of her past. Pietro welcomes her into his home and the two become very close. Through this mysterious girl, Pietro learns of a shocking reality that eventually puts him into contact with unscrupulous men and even puts his life in jeopardy more than once. Dr. Emma is there to help him. She is a woman with a difficult past who will develop a very intense relationship with Pietro.
Vincenzo and Silvia instead, who had both professed eternal love to one another at the end of the first series, prepare for the big step of marriage. Vicenzo is a traditionalist. Family and children represent a starting point for him, words Silvia is not accustomed to hearing… And to complicate things even more between the two of them, Tobias, a famous and very handsome ethologist, flies in on a hydroplane and lands on Braies Lake. Tobias has come to San Candido to help the forest rangers in a restocking project aimed at the bears in the Alto Adige region. And that’s not all…
During the series, even Vincenzo meets a girl with whom he empathizes greatly. Her name is Astrid and she’s the cousin of his kind and funny colleague, Huber. Astrid’s boyfriend has recently left her and she has left Milan, where she made an unsuccessful attempt of getting into fashion. Now she is back in San Candido. Astrid is a bit impulsive and confused. She often gets into trouble and needs Vincenzo’s advice, so she doesn’t find herself in unfortunate situations…
And Giorgio and Chiara?
After his problems with the law, Giorgio wants to become a forest ranger, even though Pietro warns him of this very difficult and dangerous decision. Giorgio will stay with Assunta, Chiara’s aunt, in her alpine house. Giorgio and Chiara have already realized they love one another, but now need to learn to grow together.
Chiara’s best friend Miriam has just arrived in San Candido from the city as well. Miriam is very attractive, the opposite type of beauty than Chiara, who is definitely less comely. She is shrewd and determined and even sneaky and scheming to get what she wants. Chiara often confides in her about her problems with Giorgio and Miriam will take advantage of Chiara’s trust in her to sow confusion in Giorgio and Chiara’s relationship…
Following the success of the first series, another 16 episodes have been produced, set in the splendid scenery of the Alto Adige region.
One Step From Heaven unites timeless Western-type heroes with comedy, drama, romance and friendship. And the distinction between man and the world of nature serves as an eternal backdrop for it all…

SEASON 3
SYNOPSIS
Natasha, a young Ukrainian woman saved by Pietro from forced prostitution, now lives in the Alpine house with Assunta, Roccia and Chiara. The woman’s frightened gaze conceals a painful past that has suddenly resurfaced. Pietro feels responsible for Natasha’s life and will do anything to help her, even if it means risking his own…
Natasha desperately wants to find her son, who was taken from her two years earlier by her exploiters. Yet she finds herself tangled in something far bigger than herself, and will need not only the help of Pietro and the police (Vincenzo on the front line), but also Tommaso, the new arrival to the Forestry Corps. Tommaso is cold and disinterested, but thanks to Natasha, with whom he develops a sincere relationship, his heart is softened and he is able to overcome a painful past…
Even Chiara and Giorgio are dealing with the ups and downs of their relationship, recently marked by more “downs” than ever before.
It all began with a promise to wed… the two of them decided to join their lives forever.
Yet things aren’t as easy as they had thought. Giorgio wants to prove to everyone that he can take care of Chiara and doesn’t participate in the competition to get into the Forestry Corps. Chiara instead wants to acquire independence and finds a job as an assistant to the famous and intriguing chef Karl Reuter, who encourages her to believe in herself and in her own talent. Even Giorgio will try and figure out his direction in life, with the encouragement of the blissful and clever Manuela, the police commissioner’s younger sister and somewhat lazy law student that Giorgio becomes friends with.
And Vincenzo? Silvia, after having someone else’s baby, has moved on and left him alone once again. The police commissioner, however, doesn’t know that he is about to meet someone new- the beautiful and naïve Eva, a Spanish model who is forced to do social service work in San Candido. Eva draws Vincenzo out of his dark tunnel by forming a deep friendship with him, a friendship that could turn into something more… Yet the tables turn and Vincenzo’s personal life becomes complicated when Rico, Eva’s stylish boyfriend who is also from Naples, arrives in San Candido.

SEASON 4
SYNOPSIS
In the small village of San Candido, the forestry police have a new commander- Francesco. Francesco takes the place of Pietro, who, as seen in the previous series, took advantage of his great deal of experience and left on a delicate humanitarian mission in Nepal.
The village welcomes Francesco warmly. He is an exemplary forestry officer, well-prepared and available, even though he is also a man of few words, reserved and maybe even a bit mysterious.
It is soon learned that Francesco is a former member of the Army Special Forces, men who work to guarantee the safety of all. Yet Francesco was not able to protect the single life that meant the most to him. One year ago, while playing with his father’s gun, his very own son died.
The tragic event led to the breakup of his marriage to Livia and now Francesco has decided to embark on a new life.
But escaping his past proves difficult. While he investigates the disappearance of Eleonora Sartori and the assault on Anna Hofer, both attacked by a maniac obsessed with Krampus, a demon from the Alto Adige tradition, Francesco makes his way to a community of people living in the woods around the city.
Inside the community led by Albert Kroess, an enigmatic spiritual director, Francesco finds Livia, who says it is here that she has found the strength to overcome the death of her son.Meanwhile, Emma, a young ethologist and friend of Pietro, also arrives in San Candido. An illness has given her reason to make changes in her life and she has decided to move to the Alto Adige to study wolves up close.
Due to a series of coincidences, Emma and Francesco find themselves working together. Getting to know Emma makes Francesco understand that he has many reasons to live his life fully again, despite all that has happened.
Even Zoe Sartori, the adolescent and rebel teenage sister of the Eleonora, the missing girl, bursts into Francesco’s life. After some initial conflict, Zoe sees Francesco as a reference point and gets very close to Martino, the new young forestry officer at the department in San Candido.
Even Vincenzo and Eva have their own problems to resolve. Eva just isn’t able to give up her career.
Vincenzo didn’t object; he was so certain of the love they shared… They see each other when they can, or in San Candido or in Los Angeles. Things seem to be working out for now…
Things take a turn for the worse, however, when the famous rapper Fedez is photographed with Eva by paparazzi and even more so when the singer moves to San Candido to write his new album.
Vincenzo pays a visit to Huber and meets Huber’s sister, Cristina, a beautiful young woman trying to get to grips after having been left by her fiancé practically in front of the altar.
Meanwhile Tommaso, still bristling over the fact that Francesco is the new commander, having stolen the position that Tommaso believed he was entitled to, tries to get life back to normal for Natasha and Evgenij, who is now four years old.
Yet the unexpected arrival of young Evgenij’s father, that Natasha believed was dead, turns their lives upside down. Things really get complicated when Anna Hofer, the girl Tommaso saved together with Francesco, returns in perfect form and full of gratitude.

At the end of last season, Commander Francesco Neri found a delicate balance between his painful personal wounds and the desire to build a new life.
A future seems finally possible for him too, especially when Emma returns to San Candido after a year of absence.
But why did she come back? The reason her return seems not to be Francesco Neri…
And did Francesco really get rid of his ghosts? Can Deva and his madness still come back to haunt his life?
An unexpected event that puts Emma‘s life in danger seems to reopen all these questions. And the discovery of a new secret , which re-emerges from the ashes of Deva, brings Francesco to question all his certainties.
Many new things also expect our beloved Commissioner, Vincenzo Nappi.
We left him at the end of last season in love with Eva and now we find them at the beginning of the new season, one step away from becoming parents, unaware of how this will change their lives forever. SEASON 6
SYNOPSIS
Daniele Liotti makes a great comeback as Francesco Neri. But as in all the best stories, you can’t expect everything to stay as it is. And in fact, in the first episode we discover that they have moved the police to a new police station… but where? In Veneto, in the Dolomites! The protests of the likeable Huber, who confesses to Vice Questore Nappi that he is sorry he can no longer work with the foresters, are of no use. Vice Questore Nappi, who is struggling with his daughter Mela, after Eva’s departure overseas to pursue her career. And he will also have to welcome home his sister Manuela (Giusy Buscemi), who is returning to the Dolomites to get married. But Vincenzo’s troubles don’t end there: a large mining company has just discovered a nickel deposit in the mountains. The valley dwellers are ready to do anything to stop it. And it is precisely near the mine that the dying body of Dafne (Aurora Ruffino) will be found, whose mysterious case will have implications for the lives of Vincenzo and Francesco… as well as the arrival on the scene of Christoph (Carlo Cecchi), an old glory of hikers and now a point of reference in the valley, who with a burdensome past behind him will do anything to safeguard that forest and try to straighten out his life.
This season, too, there will be no shortage of twists and turns, and the episodes will put the friendship between Nappi and Francesco Neri to the test. And indeed: what happened to Francesco? What happened to him?
